"make a positive difference in the lives of children" |

This is the traditional "match" that meets for eight hours per month for at least six months. The term community based means that the "Big" and "Little" can enjoy activities together anywhere within an hour of our community.

Contact between "Bigs" and "Littles" in site based matches is limited to their particular site (i.e. the child's school, Boys and Girls Club). The matches meet one hour per week for at least the duration of the school year. Children/Youth who participate in School-based mentoring programs are referred to Big Brothers Big Sisters by their school.

This program offers a variation of the traditional Community Based match but can also include a Site Based component as well. "Bigs" are matched with "Littles" who have a parent that is incarcerated. These matches spend one hour a week together for at least one year.
