This is the traditional program that includes a commitment of two hours per week for at least six months. In this program the term community based means that the "Big" and "Little" can enjoy activities together anywhere within an hour of the Jefferson City area.
Contact between "Bigs" and "Littles" with site based matches is limited to their particular site (i.e. the child's school, Boys and Girls Club). The matches meet one hour per week for the duration of the school year.
This program offers a variation of the traditional Community Based match but can also include a Site Based component as well. "Bigs" are matched with "Littles" who have a parent that is incarcerated. These matches spend one hour a week together for at least one year.
